True Stories

A clown partner and I walked into a hospital room to find a man with no nose, just bandages over a hole in his face. We were with him for less than 5 minutes. When we walked out he was wearing a red clown nose over that hole - and laughing.

Please don't ask me how these things happen. They just do.

I was leaving an event one time when a woman caught my attention off to my left. She was a large woman, over-filling her wheelchair in much the same way that a sense of disgust over-filled her. I turned and walked straight toward her, face on. Just a moment before she turned her head away I stopped. She looked at me, intrigued. I reached up and beeped my red nose. She looked at me as if to say kindly, "You fool." I motioned from my nose to her nose. She didn't know what to make of that. I very gently and carefully reached out - and beeped her nose too. Her disgust evaporated as she shook and laughed and giggled like the child she truly was.

Never underestimate the power of a squeaker hidden in your glove.
